Rustic Furniture – Log Cabin from the grandfather to my hometown
Posted: February 12th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Log Cabins Articles | Comments OffI remember the days of my youth, when I went and guided my grandfather's log cabin in the woods, with only one neighbor, however, except perhaps a squirrel or a ystervark. The journey on the winding road to get to his cabin was never too hard because I knew what the tax is pending at the end of the road.
When cabin grandfather would eventually qualify, I would be awestruck by the simplicity and beauty. Perhaps someone might think these dayswas a dump, but it was very nice – simple, rustic sort of way.
Was not outside the cabin, but what I loved – was the set. Even after being away for a whole year or more, and when the entire log cabin would be dust and insects are busy, I feel right at home. The interior walls (not only those logs), was very structured and tactile, with a glance through the chopped straw. Homemade quilts blankets all cozyread. Thickness log neglected timpani and protected each bed. Twig chairs sit around a large wooden table with irregular nodes and lines of age.
Grandfather all our meals on a stove that warms even our little log cabin with two bedrooms. There was, of course, not to mention the bathroom, but I never intend to retire from dependence … while someone came with me.
I think it's because of good weather, happy and friendly that I spent inCabin of my grandfather, I like rustic furniture so much now. My house is still not entirely covered in rustic furniture (although I would love if it is), but I have a few pieces here and there that really makes my house feel like home.
However, there is a room in the house that is completely quiet – room of my daughter, and if she is young, she loves him. I wanted him to become the happy feeling I felt when I went to register his grandfatherhut. In fact, some of the furniture in the room in the old hut Susy – when my grandfather died, we sold our house special away from home.
Susy is the whole room seems to be of wood. We also found an old rustic wooden rocking horse. We have handmade, no blankets on his bed, but we have some beautiful quilts pattern was found in the shop. The rustic furniture in his room contains a bed of the register (directly from the cab of his grandfather), a set of wooden drawers with thanksgrip, and a wardrobe with beautiful accents and accessories that we purchased from a local craftsman.
My grandfather's rustic log cabin may be gone, but we made a very comfortable home for ourselves with some of our favorite rustic furniture, even our rooms.
